Earrings with filigree
The earrings are about 2.1 cm long and 1.3 cm wide.
My filigree jewelry
When I make a piece of filigree jewelry I start by twisting thin silver thread to get the typical double filigree thread. Then I cut the filigree thread into different lengths, which I shape into various figures using pliers. The filigree shapes are then soldered together. If the jewelry contains pearls or stones I attach those at the end, since they don't support the high temperature needed for soldering.
